Ken and I are talking about getting an apartment together in Chicago. Like, IN Chicago. I've lived in the same sad little suburb for 24 years, so moving to the big city would be a good time for this country gal. Yee haw.

All we've done so far is look at apartment websites but I'm already stressed out. He wants like crazy square footage, washer & dryer in the unit, etc. I'll be happy as long as we have air conditioning. Living in Lakeview wouldn't be that much more expensive than living out in one of the nicer suburbs and the buildings have more style. And hello, it's Chicago! Who wouldn't want to live there?

By the way, apartments.com is about a zillion times easier to use than rent.com. I'm sure we'll need a realtor at some point, though. This is nerve racking.
